Judge Rex Emerson has over twenty-three years of judicial service and trial experience in Texas state courts. Judge Emerson retired from the 198th Judicial District in December 2022 and is a Senior Judge currently serving as a Visiting Judge in Texas State Courts.

Judge Emerson and his wife reside in Kerrville, Texas and they have three children and 5 grandchildren.
