Senior District Judge John Delaney

Judge John Delaney is a Native Texan. Born and raised in Houston, he has lived in Bryan since 1973. As a trial judge with over 40 years’ experience he has presided over about 590 jury trials and several thousand bench trials. He has handled over 1000 cases as a mediator or arbitrator. He continues to hold court regularly as an assigned trial judge. He has served as an arbitrator for over 20 judicial Workplace Arbitrations in non-subscriber cases.
Judge Delaney and his wife, Jeanne, are the parents of four adult children and have four grandchildren.
