Hon. Christopher Antcliff

Christopher A. Antcliff is an El Paso attorney, mediator and arbitrator. He is a former justice on the Texas 8th District Court of Appeals as well as a former judge of the 168th and 448th Judicial District Courts in El Paso.
Judge Antcliff is currently the president of the El Paso Bar Association, former president of the El Paso Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, and a member of the American Bar Association, the Bar Association of the Fifth Circuit. In 2010 Judge Antcliff was named Outstanding Jurist by the El Paso Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and in 2013 he was named the El Paso Bar Association's Mediator of the Year. He is a current member and former chair of the Public Service Board which governs El Paso Water, a former vice-chair of the City of El Paso Ethics Review Commission, and a member of the Rotary Club of El Paso, the Board of Directors of the Finance Council for the Catholic Diocese of El Paso, and past member of the Board of Directors for the Amigo Airsho.
Judge Antcliff is a graduate of Austin High School in El Paso, Texas Tech University, and Texas Tech University School of Law.
Judge Antcliff is 57 years old and was the first baby boy born at Kirk Army Hospital on Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. He has been married to his wife Linda for 31 years and they have three children, Lauren, Matthew and Katherine. Judge Antcliff and his family have traveled extensively – pre-Covid-19. Their most recent trip was to Poland. His office is full of photographs that he has taken all over the world.
